The Black Shrine.
Each addiction has its own origin, and my musical addiction started when I was 8 years old getting my first CD, Marilyn Manson's "Antichrist Superstar". Now at my 36s, I am kneading a collection of about 3000 items, between CDs, Vinyl, Tapes, DVDs, and even Diskettes.
After all these years into music, I have flirted with so many genres, most of them derived from the Rock or Metal, but only one could conquer me. Black Metal.
The genre itself is complex, narrow-minded, passional, and very eclectic. During this journey I have been lucky to meet and even fortunately to now call them friend some musicians of the scene.
This prolific musical void, along with the friendships I have been able to forged pushed me, unconsciously to dive in the media, as a journalist, and photographer; both professions in parallel with my legal profession.
In the early years of this media training, I worked as radio announcer in several internet radio stations. Then within some zines, and finally at a magazine. These experiences help me out to polish and strengthen my interview skills.
Then by 2016-2017 during my European dream, I exploded my photograph skills shooting in some gigs and festivals through Spain, France, Germany, England and Italy.
Now, living the 2023 in Mexico City, I collaborate with a Mexican zine and also with a printed magazine from Spain.
So what could you expect in The Black Shrine?
Pure love and dedication to the music, through interviews, reviews, unboxings and all related to this addiction.
